Cookies

Personal data is collected only when you buy our products. For this information such as e-mail address, first name, last name and country are collected and encrypted stored in a database. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and adhere strictly to the relevant legal provisions and to this privacy policy when collecting and processing personal data. Regularly our website can be used without the transfer of personal data. Of the personal data, only these are forwarded to the service providers of the selected payment transaction (PayPal, Concardis), which are required for payment transactions. Another passing on to third does not take place. The transfer of the collected data is done with an SSL-encryption. If you choose a payment method with a credit card, the card data will be encrypted again. Please note that data on the Internet is generally not always transmitted securely.

SSL Encryption

Our website always uses SSL encryption. Please make sure that the SSL-encryption is activated by your side during activities. The use of encryption is easy to recognize: The display in your browser line changes from "http: //" to "https: //". SSL encrypted data is not readable by third parties. Submit your confidential information only with activated SSL encryption and contact us in case of doubt.

Encrypted Payment Transactions

We secure your data in payment transactions. Therefore, for security reasons and to protect your confidential and personal content, our site uses SSL encryption for payment transfers. You can determine if SSL encryption is enabled or not. You recognize the use of encryption at the address bar of the browser. Only when the regular display changes from "http: //" to "https: //", data transfer is encrypted. The browser line "https: //" indicates the use of SSL encryption, payment transactions are now encrypted. When purchasing one of our products, we offer you the opportunity to receive our newsletter about product updates. To do this, the entry "Yes, I would like to be informed about product updates by mail" must be marked in the purchase form. With this newsletter we inform about our product updates. You can cancel the subscription to this newsletter at any time. Details can be found in the confirmation e-mail as well as in each individual newsletter.
Contacting Us
On our website we offer you the opportunity to contact us by email. In such event, information provided by the user is stored for the purpose of facilitating communications with the user. No data is transferred to third parties. Nor is any of this information matched to any information that may be collected by other components of our website.

Use of Google Analytics with anonymization

Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google“. Google also offers a disabling option for the most common browsers, thus providing you with greater control over the data which is collected and processed by Google. Using PayPal as a payment method

If, while completing your order, you decide to use PayPal as an online payment service, your contact details will be sent to PayPal during the order process. PayPal is a service from PayPal (Europe) S.à.rl & Cie. SCA, 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg. PayPal assumes the function of an online payment service and trustee, and offers buyer protection services.

The personal data transmitted to PayPal usually includes your first name, last name, address, telephone number, IP address, e-mail address, or other data required to process your order, such as the quantity of articles ordered, the article number, invoice amount, percentage taxes and invoice details, etc.

This information needs to be transferred to process your order using your chosen payment method, mainly in order to confirm your identity and manage your payment and the customer relationship.

Please note the following however: PayPal may also pass on your personal data to subcontractors or other affiliates, to the extent necessary for fulfilling the contractual obligations arising from your order or for processing personal data in your order.

Depending on the payment type you pre-select in your PayPal account, which may include payment by invoice or direct debit, PayPal will transfer the personal data transferred to PayPal to credit agencies. The information transferred serves to identify you and to verify your creditworthiness with regard to the order you have placed. Please refer to the PayPal Privacy Policy for more information on the credit agencies how PayPal transfers data to and which data is collected, processed, stored and passed on by PayPal.   

Use of credit card as payment method

If you choose to pay by credit card as part of your order process, your credit card details will be transmitted to payment service provider Concardis as part of the order placed. Concardis is an online payment service provider that enables the payment of products and services with credit card on the Internet. The data transmitted to Concardis is the type of card, cardholder, card number, validity and CVC code. This submission is necessary to process your order with the payment method you have selected. Credit Card data are not stored by DS-Datasoft.

Information/Cancellation/Deletion

On the basis of the Federal Data Protection Act, you may contact us at no cost if you have questions relating to the collection, processing or use of your personal information, if you wish to request the correction, blocking or deletion of the same, or if you wish to cancel explicitly granted consent.
